Yesterday it was an all day long appt. I tell ya! 2:30 til 4pm ! We met with the Maternal Fetal Dr. I met him last year when He saw me for Gabe and one of his colleagues saw me the rest of the pregnancy. He was very nice, we went over all the blood work, he got me the prescriptions for the daily injections of Fragmin (same as lovenox). He got my referral in for cardiology and endocrinology (hypothyroid) Baby was great! We heard the HB right away at 160/170's I've lost 12 pounds so far.
We discussed trying something for the nausea. I had taken the promethazine when I went to the ER for dehydration, but didn't like it, I was literally in a coma. So, I am going to try the Vitamin B6 and Unisom. I know some of you ladies have taken this, How much of each do you take? I do have a bottle of Zofran, but if I can get away with just the B6 and Unisom, I'll try it, it can't last much longer, can it?
Anyhoo. That's us.
Kevin was offered to leave early today. The 1st Sgt is going to call him back, so looks like we won't have to wait for mid November for him to leave. I'll try and keep y'all posted. I will miss him so very much!!

I had fragmin before ... the injections sting a little at first and be warned they WILL bruise. Pinch your skin ad touch it with the needle if you can feel it then move to another spot ..... if you cant feel the needle then inject there it will sting less - just some places more sensitive than others. I swapped betwen my stomach and my thighs in the end you wont bruise so much but you will at first. SO glad about baby hb and things - lookng good honey.
and how long will DH be away for?

Yeah, I've had the frgmin before, so that's comforting.... kinda, I think. Now the problem is, Insurance doesn't want to cover it. Now, Ins says the Dr. has to call and tell the Insurance he wants me to have it. What I want to know, isn't that why he wrote out a prescription for it?? Because he wants me to have the friggin med?? I mean, Hello?!?! What, is he going to call and say, No, I was just kidding! My Dr. is mad, said the Insurance companies should stop trying to practice medecine without a license! (Last time he gave me a prescription for a z pack, which is 5 pills. My insurance denied it and said I could only have 3. Well nimrods, they only work when you have the whole amount, hence the Z-Pack Idea! - what is wrong with them??) Anyhoo, enough of that I spose... Kevin got the call toay, he's leaving Monday.
